This Russian firearm maker is well known for its target pistols and rifles. It manufactures firearms for all the Olympic competitions. This pistol was designed for 25 m Olympic competitions. It is a single shot pistol which uses a turn bolt action to facilitate the loading of a cartridge into the chamber. The working of the bolt also charge the firing pin spring but does not set the trigger when loading the chamber. The trigger has to be set with the set lever/safety catch next to the trigger guard and the safety lever sits diagonally across the trigger guard when the trigger is not set. It has a very long barrel and long sight radius with excellent competition sights. The trigger is a small button, the small pressure area increase the feel when pushing of the trigger.
